Two new special versions of Panerai radiomir 3 Days Acciaio – 47mm reiterate Panerai’s role as a military instruments supplier to the Italian Navy in 1930s. They pay more attention to the bezel and dial appearance of the historic Panerai timekeeper, presented to the authorities of the royal Italian Navy to evaluate new instruments for underwater task.
These two new watches will be held on January 16 at the SIHH exhibition in Geneva.To direct respect for vintage watch, one features a black dial and the other shows a shadow brown dial. The twelve-sided bezel in brushed steel and smoothed, buffed angles, same carving and lettering as the historic models is another notable detail to stress the design of watch’s vintage. The radiomir cushion caseband together with the screwed back forms the rear part of the case. It is also echoing the vintage design, these new pieces are made of three case parts, each can visible clearly when looking at the case in profile. 
It carved words “Officine Panerai-Brevettato” on each radiomir 3 Days Acciaio cases, that means the luminous substance used on the dials. Each piece has hand winding, and Replica Panerai 3000 mechanical movement can visible through a clear sapphire crystal. The dial has following colors: balck (PAM00685), vintage model color or shaged brown (PAM00687). It is Panerai’s a completely new color, intended to evoke the radiomir (radium-based light-emitting material) flash effect on the original black dials. The new radiomir 3-day Acciaio models are all waterproof about 30 meters deep. The price is $9,800.
